Hello! Here is my try at an Orchid Video. I did get to view it. Very relaxing.
In order to view it though, I had to wait for a public computer to be free. Dont know why the one at the Childrens Desk and here in my office would not allow the video. I also tried it on the public computer in the Childrens Room, where I often see patrons watching a video. And I was told it had Flash Player on it. But it would tell me Page Not Available. Just some of the trials and tribulations I had.

Now I see that it will not link to the video!
I tried to copy and paste the "address". I also tried to e-mail it to myself. I got a message from them but that was about it. But all in all I did have a good time with it. I went home from work feeling pretty happy. And I know that some of the cobwebs we get were cleared out from my YouTube Experience. It is fun to learn.
Will try again soon...

The trials of me and YouTube
Have been attempting to see what I can do with YouTube. I worked with the Help but cannot get by installing Flash Player. I keep going around in circles. And I dont understand about my JavaScript being turned off. Called my computer savy sister. I will check with her again. Did find a video on orchids that I would like to work with. Would have been nice to view it. Well this is what I did with my lessons today. Will try again soon....And if all else fails...Guess I'll go visit my sister and work on her computer. Pamela did invite me to 4cl. Could do that too.
-Must say that old dogs has made me want to get a better computer at home. Maybe I will stimulate the economy with my govt check and see what Dell has for me.

Audiobook and an ebook from NYPL

Tried this selection for Browse Children's as my ebook. Am waiting for an e-mail to tell me when it will be available. Always liked Gail Carson Levine's books and have not had a chance to read this one yet. Will let you know how the e-mail turns out.
Also chose from NYPL's Always Available Audiobooks, Thomas Hardy's Return of the native. I read this book over 30 years ago in high school for Novel class in my senior year. I remember the teacher Mr Capp was THE BEST Teacher ever. He got me through a lot of books that year. And he always made them enjoyable with his special ways of teaching.
-I downloaded it to a CD. Something I had never done before. Tonight I will spend some time seeing if I can bring it up to read...
Well I wasnt able to go into what I thought I had downloaded. It kept copying and copying all the while I was having supper. Like Gene said - its out in cyberspace somewhere. Guess I'll have to go downstairs and get "Return of" out of the storeroom here at the Library if I want to read about Eustasia again. This Native is returning to work...
Northern Lights at Yellowknife Canada

We do go camping and I would love to stay in one of these teepees.
And also these photos of frozen waves. Would love to see them myself.
Did also try to have more than one photo posted on my blog like Gene did. I still remembered how to take them off my e-mail. But I had a little trouble getting them arranged just right. Will have to practice this again sometime.
